Night time again.
Time to go a-prowl...
With my unicorns beside me,
Armed with herbs, my staff of lore,
My wisdom, my wits.
I'll walk far tonight, in search of forever.
Along moonlit path, through tangled forest,
Along the brows of hills,
Hair tossing in the wind,
Talking to Fae folks in their homes,
Offering my services.
It's not the destination, it's the traveling.
Eyes deep with dreaming, mine -
Wisdom beyond the ages I possess,
As I wander this lonesome way,
Happy in my own solitary company,
And that of my unicorns.
Would you walk with me?
I know many a song,
Many a merry dance.
Let me ease your burdens a while.
And at night, I sleep under hedgerows,
And in the crowns of trees,
Safe in the embrace of the Goddess.
I speak the language of the seasons, and of times passing -
The wind teaches me songs, the moon dances with me,
The animals are my companions, the trees my family.
Music in my fingertips,
Songs and healing on my tongue and in my hands,
Dance in my legs and my feet.
Wild witch, woman, warrior am I,
A blending of three.
Some call me the Woodwife.
Others call me Lyonesse.
But I am myself - call me what you will.
